Welcome
Carrie L. Nacht, MPH
I am a fourth year PhD student in Public Health (Health Behavior track) in the Joint Doctoral Program at University of California, San Diego and San Diego State University. I am currently working on various projects aimed at improving sexual and reproductive health equity for disproportionately affected groups, such as sexual, gender, and racial/ethnic minorities and people who inject drugs. My primary research interests include HIV/STIs, substance use, reproductive justice, mental health, LGBT rights, and sexual and reproductive health education.
I received my MPH in Epidemiology with a concentration in Global Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019. Prior to that I graduated with a BS in Microbiology, a BA in French, and a certificate in European Studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Go Badgers!
Places I've called home: Chicago, Madison, Paris, San Diego
